A Letter to my Future Husband #1
Even though I do not know who you are yet, I do think of you often and what you're doing at this moment.
It's unusually warm on this November day, the sun is shining bright and the temperature is in the mid 60's. I've been feeling pretty under the weather the last couple days with the changing of seasons, as I seem to get sick each and every change of season. I just want to forewarn you that I'm a baby when I'm sick and will probably need you to take care of me and snuggle me and watch movies with me until I'm better. If you get sick, I promise to take care of you and make you homemade soup and whatever else you may need.
I have a wedding to go to on Friday and I am more than excited to dress up and be glamorous that evening. I do wish you could see me all dressed up and pretty. I am a little sad that it is not you and I getting married and how I've always dreamed of the day when I become your wife. The look on your face when you see me walk down the aisle in my white dress. I am very excited to think and dream of that day even though I do not know when or where I'll meet you, the love of my life. I still have so much more to get, but my car is being somewhat of a failure the last few days so I'm afraid to take it out anywhere...my luck I'll get stranded somewhere. And you should know I have horrible luck, I hope you can deal with my most of the time bad luck issues.
I cannot wait to finally be able to stand in front of you and see your smile and hear your laugh. I want an old fashioned kind of love, the one were you fall in love over and over again each and everyday because I'll find something new I love about you. I want to dance in the kitchen with you and build homemade forts with you and have movie night. I sure do hope you enjoy Mexican food because it is my favorite!!! I could eat it every day...just letting you know : ). I want to go on date nights with you and go on adventures, explore new and exciting things with you. I want to open my heart to you, but please promise you won't chip it or break it because it is very fragile.
I know this is so random and all over the place, but that's much like how I am as a person. I am excited to tell you all about me and grow through these letters <3
I Love You,
Your Future Wife

My LBD
I finally found my dress for the wedding in November! Hooray!!! I'm pretty super excited about it, it was not only found at the first store we went in but it was the very first dress I tried on. I put it on and looked in the mirror and was shocked at how it made me look about 10 pounds thinner! It made me feel good about myself and I knew at that very moment that, that was the dress for me. The neckline, the sleeves, the length of the dress is perfect since I'm short at about 5'3ish, everything was perfect...oh yes even the price at $22.80!! I'm going to channel my inner Audrey Hepburn for the evening and wear pearls and a fancy updo. I can't decide if I should do the red lip neutral eye or the neutral lip smokey eye thing...oh decisions decisions. I do still have some time to decide on that one, but for the shoes I got little black booties with a heel and a bow on the side, which I think I'm going to embellish with some jewels of some sort. My mom-mom had left my mom a ton of her beads and beautiful little embellishments so I think I'll go through those and see what I can find. I can't wait to get all dressed up and feel like a movies star...okay maybe that'll just be in my head but like I said I'm channeling my inner Audrey so I hope to do her proud!!!
Forever 21 dress
Walgreens headband...(shh don't tell)
Don't mind my dumb face or the crookedness of the picture thanks to me lovely and darling mother <3

Dessert Anyone?
I love this little trend that seems to be happening at more and more weddings and even birthday parties. It's no longer just a cake or a groom's cake and maybe some little pastries. It's a whole dessert table, full of yummy treats in the colors of your wedding. From M&Ms to Rock Candy, from cupcakes to gorgeous truffles of all sorts. One of my favorite parts of the table are seeing the jars and dishes they are displayed in as well as the little wrappers and labels that grace the table.
These are just a few of my favorites...
These are just a few of my favorites...
this adorable hard candy theme
filled with ribbon candy and malted milk balls and one of my childhood favorites those little marshmallow ice cream cones
pretty pink silhouette and love theme
cupcakes galore and adorable pastries
this purple table
gorgeous flowers next to chocolate covered pretzels? umm hello!!!
this has to be one of my favorites
i love the vintage feel of this one, the damask wallpaper, the candles and the love banner. not to mention the sweet cake pops and the little love is sweet flags on the mini cheesecakes.
of course i had to throw a halloween themed one in there we're less then a week away!!!!!
the little dirt skeleton coffins, bat taffies, fake poisoned brew...amazing!
Seriously I could go on for hours with all of this and just sit in front of my little old computer but I have to go and make myself look human and head off to the store. Well these pictures seriously just made my day and now I'll be thinking of weddings all day and how I wish I was getting married just to have someone create one of these for me...Hey who knows maybe I'll start my own dessert table business.

I Need This
The Good Enough to Eat dress needs to be in my wardrobe. I love the cut of this dress and and the pattern is of course...simply amazing! It reminds me of carnivals and boardwalks, which I don't mind thinking about, no not one bit. I love the fact that you can wear this dress with so many different cardigans or tights...all in all it just makes me happy to look at it.
Make Me Swoon
